The Wright Eye Difference
The Wright Eye Center proudly introduces the Allegretto WaveLight Excimer Laser system. Since founding the Wright Eye Center more than 25 years ago, Dr. John Wright has dedicated his career to offering patients the very best in technology and advanced surgical techniques. With the introduction of the newest excimer laser system approved by the FDA - the Allegretto WaveLight Excimer Laser - Dr. Wright has once again set the standard in Southern Colorado for laser vision correction.
The Allegretto features applied German-engineering designed to enhance both precision and accuracy. The eye tracking system and improved beam profile features of this laser offer our LASIK patients a faster, more precise treatment for nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Faster treatment times result not only in improved outcomes, but also reduced stress patients.
“The Allegretto laser is a significant advancement in how we reshape the cornea to improve vision,” said Dr. Wright. “The beam profile has been carefully designed to give the outer areas of the cornea a more natural or prolate shape. This can help reduce common side effects and the rate of enhancements.
The Benefits of the Allegretto WaveLight Excimer Laser
PerfectPulse® Technology ….for a Better Result.
As it accounts for speed, precision and safety, the laser’s PerfectPulse Technology represents a new approach to the bladeless LASIK procedure at Wright Eye Center. Energy levels are controlled, measured and adjusted from the point of generation and throughout your procedure. As a result, the accuracy of every laser pulse helps to achieve the most precise level of vision correction possible today.
EYE TRACKING TECHNOLOGY …for your Peace of Mind
The Allegretto WaveLight laser features advanced Eye Tracking Technology. Every 4-6 milliseconds, the tracker measures eye movement and the internal mirrors of the Allegretto WaveLight are automatically aligned. Right before the pulse is released, a second check is made to confirm that the eye has not moved. And this happens at a rate of 400 times every second - once for every laser pulse released. If, at any time, the eye moves too quickly to be measured or moves out of range, the laser will stop immediately and wait for the eye to move back into position.
