The Wright Eye Center is pleased to be the only laser center in Colorado Springs to offer a variety of laser treatment options to our, patients, ensuring the best visual result possible. Currently, we can offer patients the Autonomous laser with LADARVision . The laser is FDA approved for use in the United States.

The Autonomous laser, or LADARVision is helping us achieve the best results in laser vision correction we have experienced so far. The LADARVision laser radar tracker can track eye movements 4,000 times per second, and has the only FDA-Approved claim for improved accuracy in corneal shaping. LADARVision uses a small-spot beam of less than 1 mm, which is moved rapidly around the cornea in a computer-controlled pattern of tiny, non-sequential, overlapping spots. This helps create a smooth postoperative corneal surface. With this technology we now have the ability to expand the treatment zone, decreasing problems with night vision for our patients.

We are able to check beam quality throughout the day on the laser verifying that the desired correction is achieved. Any deviation from the target correction can be immediately corrected, a feature that is lacking on some lasers.
